The minister of interior has announced the closure of all Nigerian borders ahead of Saturday presidential election.
According to the statement released and signed by the ministry’s permanent secretary, Mr Abubarkar Magaji. The closure takes effect at midnight of today Wednesday 25 march, 2015 to midnight of 28 March, 2015.
The statement said the closure was to allow peaceful conduct of the Saturday election. A directive have been giving to the immigration to ensure that non Nigerian do not participate in the election.
