A Canadian Islamic woman was asked by the judge presiding her case to remove the hijab she was wearing before her trail would commence in a Canadian court.
According to the judge, the use of hat/ cap or sunglasses is not allowed in the court so he sees no different in a scarf.
The woman went to court to seek a permit for the release of her car that was seized on the offence of driving without license ( committed by her son).
According to the women,” i was scared, and felt like none canadian after the trail”she said.
The case was however adjoined till further hearing..
